Anjaan lets adults start a one-to-one chat from anywhere in India, right in the browser. There are no public rooms, accounts, downloads or cameras. Matches can be from anywhere; choosing a language does not limit them to India.
Pick a languageOpen Preferences and choose Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Urdu, Odia, Assamese or English. You can also leave it on Any language.
Pick how to talkVoice asks for your microphone; Text does not. In a text chat, one person can invite the other to voice. The call starts only if the invitation is accepted.
What does the language setting do?
It is a matching preference, not a translator. Anjaan pairs you with someone who chose the same language or Any language. A person who picked Any language may not speak your choice, so ask at the start. If you choose a specific language and nobody compatible is waiting, the search stays open until you cancel or someone arrives.
The greetings on the main screen rotate through several Indian languages. They are a welcome, not evidence that someone speaking each language is online right now.
A calmer first hello
Start in Text if you want to find a common language before speaking. You can leave or move to the next person whenever a chat is not right for you. During a voice call, you can type in the same conversation without ending the audio.
This is an anonymous conversation with a stranger, not a private messenger. Keep your address, phone number, OTPs and financial details to yourself. You can report and block a person; reports include recent text for human review, but Anjaan does not record call audio or promise an immediate response. Read the community rules and privacy details.
